Last week we covered the happenings in WCW, which these days , happenings in WCW are less and less interesting.

Don’t get me wrong, I prefer WCW over WWF, but geez, WCW needs to spice it up a bit. They are having their problems right now, but anybody that watches wrestling for an extended period of time should know that the momentum switches from company to company every year or so.

So now is the time for WWF to shine. Just a few years ago it looked as if the WWF was going out of business.

WCW flourished during that Eric Bischoff run period. The few years before Bischoff started Nitro WCW looked to be in major trouble.
Oh well, if I was a booker then I’d fix things, but I’m not, so they will probably remain screwed up for a bit longer.

I just have trouble believing that booking wrestling matches and creating good stories is hard.

What a great job - they should be better at it. Oh well, as the world turns …in the WWF this week:

Dean Malenko, Former WCW United States Champion, and Cruiserweight Champion is now a part of the WWF’s Radicals.
Malenko is on booking sheets for a possible WWF Lightweight Title win tonight on the Smackdown Tapings, or it will be pushed back to RAW.

However, I am hearing he will become the WWF Lightweight Champion right before or right after No Way Out, so expect it shortly.
Meanwhile, it appears that the WWF will keep the team of D-Lo Brown and The Godfather going for awhile until eventually turning Brown heel. The WWF was trying to find a good program for both.
Reports indicate Stone Cold Steve Austin may be ready to return to action by this Summer.

The WWF may hold off on the Undertaker’s return and bring the two guys back together at once as part of some storyline.

WWF “NO Way Out” Pay-Per-View February 27, 2000 at 8:00pm:
Hell in a Cell Championship match, Cactus Jack vs. Triple H.
For a shot at the WWF Champion at WrestleMania, Big Show vs. The Rock.

Intercontinental Championship match, Kurt Angle vs. Chris Jericho.
Six-man tag team match, Too Cool & Rikishi vs. Benoit, Saturn & Malenko.

Tag Team Champion-ship match, Dudley Boyz vs. New Age Outlaws.
No holds barred, Kane vs. X-Pac.
